My background
Profile
I have spent over twenty years caring for children with complex neurologic conditions, including hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, neonatal seizures, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
I trained in pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin and completed a fellowship in pediatric neurology at the University of Michigan. I now practice as a pediatric neurologist and assistant professor at Central Michigan University and the University of Illinois.
For more than 15 years, I have been retained by both plaintiff and defense counsel. Every case receives an objective review of the medical evidence and a clear, well-reasoned explanation of causation. This work may take the form of a written report, a deposition, or trial testimony, depending on the case. In each setting, my aim is to make complex medicine understandable to a judge and jury.
